Kieran Kelly, Assistant Manager
When the time came to pick a college and career, Kieran wanted Hotel & Restaurant Management. His parents talked him out of it, so he went to college in New York City pursuing a degree in Accounting. After working in New York for a few years, he decided to search for greener pastures and moved north to New Hampshire in 1988. Kieran's first restaurant job was as part time dishwasher for a nice Italian restaurant in Peabody, Massachusetts. Then, after being laid off from his full-time job, he began waiting tables. Learning the food and beverage side of a hotel, he held many positions. Wanting to learn more about different aspects of the industry, he managed small venues, a fast food restaurant and then finally arrived at the Portsmouth Brewery in 2005.
Kieran's free time is usually consumed by his two dogs Mo and Lizzy. Both are shelter rescue dogs, one of them a Wiemaraner, which requires complete and undivided attention. The rest of his free time is spent looking for another Weim to rescue!
